David Lawrason

David has been an independent, full time wine writer, educator and wine competition judge since 1986. Formerly with the Globe and Mail and Wine Access magazine, he is currently VP of Wine for winealign.com, columnist for Toronto Life and Ottawa magazine as well as Grapevine published in Ontario. He has closely followed Ontario wine throughout his career, founding the Canadian Wine Awards and the Canadian Wine Annual during his time with Wine Access. Residing in Toronto, he maintains close contact with wineries in Prince Edward County and Niagara through regular visits and tastings.
